Frimpong open to move to FC Barcelona as Liverpool set price

Liverpool's Dutch full-back Jeremie Frimpong is open to a move to FC Barcelona during the winter transfer window, with the Catalan club interested in signing him, according to TEAMtalk.

Frempong joined Liverpool in the summer of 2025 from Bayer Leverkusen, but he did not deliver the expected level and struggled with injuries. The player made 40 appearances for the first team, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Under the management of Andoni Iraola this season, Frimpong has started in only two matches in the Premier League, along with 31 minutes in the UEFA Champions League. The source clarified that the player is living a nightmare with Liverpool and is unable to adapt in England, and he is not part of Iraola's plans.

The report indicated that Frempong is very open to a move to FC Barcelona, while Liverpool may allow his departure for £35 million.

Meanwhile, FC Barcelona are also keeping an eye on Pedro Porro's situation, the Tottenham full-back, as the source mentioned that the player is looking to return to Spain and has the Catalan club as his priority.
