Five giants in the Premier League await Koundé's future with FC Barcelona

Jules Koundé's situation at FC Barcelona has rekindled interest from several top Premier League clubs, following a decline in his role with the team at the start of the current season, amid ongoing scrutiny of the French defender's future.

According to "Sport", Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Liverpool are keeping an eye on Jules Koundé's situation, given the high regard for his abilities and versatility, whether at right-back or centre-back.

Jules Koundé's name has been on the radar of some of these clubs during past transfer windows, but his reduced participation under Hans Flick has reignited interest, as his playing time has decreased compared to previous seasons.

Chelsea and Arsenal are particularly interested in Jules Koundé, with Chelsea valuing his defensive versatility. Arsenal previously expressed interest in the player last summer, while Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool continue to monitor his situation.

There are currently no open negotiations or official offers for the transfer of Koundé, and FC Barcelona is under no pressure to let him go, after the French defender renewed his contract with the club until 2030, confirming his desire to stay.

The key point regarding Koundé's future is his ability to regain his starting role with the team, while FC Barcelona will only consider his departure if a very high financial offer arrives, as the player continues to try to reclaim his place in Flick's plans.
