Liverpool plan double deal from Brentford
Liverpool have placed Italian full-back Michael Kayode at the top of their list of targets ahead of a potential signing in 2027, according to "TEAMtalk", which noted that the club is also monitoring his teammate at Brentford, forward Kevin Schade.
Michael Kayode, 22, has shone at Brentford since his move from Fiorentina, becoming one of the standout full-backs in the Premier League with his ability to play on both flanks. He is attracting interest from Arsenal and Tottenham, but Liverpool seem to be the most serious in their pursuit.
TEAMtalk reported, citing CaughtOffside, that Brentford may ask for £60 to £65 million at least to part with Kayode, whose contract extends until June 2032, while there are currently no concrete negotiations between the two parties.
Kevin Schade has emerged as a target for Liverpool, with Brentford seeking £60 million for his departure. The German player has scored three goals in his first five league matches this season.
The double transfer deal for Michael Kayode and Kevin Schade could reach £115 million, as Liverpool aim to strengthen their right-back position and attacking line.
