Marai was included in the Al-Ahly squad during the match against Ceramica in the seventh round of the tournament, but he did not participate due to concerns over his injury, especially since he returned from a hamstring injury.
Al-Ahly had previously achieved a victory over Ceramica with a clean goal scored by Mahmoud Trezeguet.
