Al-Ahly's Victory Over Ceramica
Imad Nasr, the head coach of Al-Ahly, spoke about his team's victory over Ceramica Cleopatra in the league.
Al-Ahly won against Ceramica with a clean goal in a match held on Friday evening during the seventh round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Nasr said in the press conference after the match: "Congratulations first to the fans, missing chances is a positive thing as long as we reach the goal, this is a good thing, missing chances is just bad luck but we are working on improving it."
Regarding his lack of conviction in player Gradychar, Nasr said: "There is no such thing as a lack of confidence in Gradychar's abilities; we are talking about a professional player. If there was no confidence, he wouldn't be with us. We don't have anyone unconvincing in the team."
On the many injuries within the team, he said: "The medical staff is working, but the effort might be greater. However, Beckham's injury is minor; Ben Ramadan complained but continued until the end of the match."
He added: "We have players we can rely on, and God willing, we won’t feel these absences. I don't talk about referees; normally, I spoke before, but there could have been a decision or not. There is a referee on the field and video technology; if one doesn’t see it, the other should. No one at that time knew which ball the referee was reviewing, but in the end, nothing was counted. The referees have not officiated any Al-Ahly matches; could this be a strategy to prepare the referees?"
He continued: "Trezeguet was in a crisis; he wanted to come out and talk about his crisis, but the club responded. He is a great player who had a good match today; we exploited the understanding between him and Trezeguet. I spoke with Walid Salah El-Din about the ball, but his gesture was not meant for the fans, and today he was able to say that he can bear the team's responsibility."
