Media figure Ahmed Shobir revealed the duration of Imam Ashour's absence from the fields after he contracted a virus A infection.

Shobir stated in radio remarks: "As soon as it was confirmed that Ashour was infected, there was significant concern for his teammate Marwan Attia, especially since they had been staying in the same room recently."

He continued: "Imam Ashour will remain under observation and medical examination for at least two days in the hospital before being allowed to return home, with the necessity of not sharing utensils or food to avoid any complications."

He added: "Ashour's treatment will be easy, but the real problem lies in his weakened condition due to poor nutrition, which may lead to weight loss and result in a longer absence from the fields, and his return will be determined based on the final medical report."
