Al Ahli club has officially concluded an agreement for the transfer of midfielder Younes Al-Shanqeeti to Neom for two million riyals, with additional clauses allowing for an increase in the value of the deal in the future.

This step is part of Neom's project to support its under-21 team with promising talents during the summer transfer window, where Al-Shanqeeti will sign a contract extending for two seasons with the rapidly emerging club in the sports arena.

The agreement includes a clause granting Al Ahli 15% of the value of any future sale of Al-Shanqeeti's contract, ensuring the club additional revenue if the player transfers to another team later.

Al-Shanqeeti is considered a product of the youth categories at Al Ahli, where he received his football training within the club's walls before having short loan experiences.

Last season, Al-Shanqeeti played on loan with Al-Shabab, participating in six matches in the Saudi Roshen League, where he gained additional experience at the local level.

The deal reflects Al Ahli's direction towards financially and technically benefiting from its young players, while Neom aims to build a strong base of talents to ensure a promising competitive future in various tournaments.
