Will this be Al-Sadd's last match for you? Al Ahly FC coach responds

Marino Pusic, the head coach of Al Ahly FC, has clarified his stance on the possibility that the match against Al-Sadd could be his last with the team, stating that his focus is entirely on his work and the preparations of his players.

Boussetich said during the press conference: "I do not follow the press news nor do I read what is published, and all my attention is focused on the team, daily work, and preparing for matches in a professional manner."

Al Ahly FC's coach spoke about the heavy loss against Al-Shabab in the 12th round of the Saudi Pro League, explaining that overcoming the effects of the defeat takes time, but the next match gives the team a chance to bounce back and respond on the pitch.

Boussitsh added that he has held sessions with the players to discuss the mistakes that appeared in the last match, pointing out that there is a desire and determination within the team to deliver a different performance against Al-Sadd.

The coach confirmed that the AFC Champions League Elite is of special importance, but warned of the difficulty of the upcoming match due to the strength of the participating teams and the high competitive level of the tournament.

Boussetich described Al-Sadd as a distinguished team with players of great individual potential, emphasizing his respect for the opponent, especially as they are playing at home and in front of their fans.

He concluded his statements by affirming that Al Ahly FC's position in the tournament is good, but he is looking to win against Al-Sadd and gain a new boost to strengthen the team's position amid strong competition.
