Jamal Belmadi, the head coach of Al-Duhail SC, has revealed the difficulties his team is facing in preparing for their match against Neom, scheduled for the third round of the Gulf Club Champions League, due to a congested fixture schedule.

Djamel Belmadi explained during the press conference that Al-Duhail SC played a match against Al-Wakrah in the league just two days ago, which did not allow for intensive training sessions before the encounter.

Al-Duhail SC's coach added that the preparations were limited to recovery training and regaining physical readiness, to prepare the players to face the upcoming match in the best possible condition.

Belmadi confirmed his respect for the Gulf Club Champions League, but pointed out that competing for the league title is the club's top priority, aligning with the ambitions of its management.

He emphasized that Al-Duhail SC will enter the match with the appropriate lineup, focusing on facing Neom first, before directing attention to the match against Al-Gharafa without distracting the players' focus.

In contrast, French coach Christophe Galtier of Neom expressed confidence in his players' ability to overcome Al-Duhail SC and secure victory, despite the fatigue resulting from consecutive matches.

Galtier stated that he arrived in Tabuk in the morning coming from France. He also congratulated his team on their victory against Al-Dhariyah before the important Gulf Club Champions League match.

Neom's coach explained that his team is playing a match every three days, having played four matches in ten days. He emphasized that this schedule imposes a significant physical strain.

Christophe Galtier has pointed out that his team is facing exceptional pressure, considering that the number of consecutive matches and the accompanying fatigue represent a significant challenge for the players during this period.

The French coach expressed confidence in his players' ability to earn points and deliver a better performance than the level they showed against Al Shabab.

Galtier praised Mohannad Abu Taha, confirming that he is a world-class player with exceptional abilities, and he can provide an addition in various positions on the left side.

He also explained that the decision not to start Alexandre Lacazette against Al-Dhariyah was part of the coaching staff's considerations to manage the pressure of matches and maintain the players' readiness.

Al-Duhail SC enters the match at the top of the group standings with 6 points, while Neom occupies second place with three points, in a clash that holds significant importance for both teams.
