The general coach of the first football team at Pyramids Club, Moatasem Salem, confirmed the club's commitment to keeping Congolese player Viston Mayeli within the team.

Salem stated in remarks during the "Classico" program on ON channel: "Viston Mayeli is an important player for us and he is the main striker in the team's lineup in all the matches we have played."

He added: "I do not know when Viston Mayeli's contract with Pyramids will end, but we are committed to him as one of the essential elements of the team."

He continued: "Every player has the absolute freedom to think about their future, but we work quietly without any media noise regarding the renewal of player contracts. There have been many rumors about negotiations with Al Ahly regarding Mayeli, but we do not pay attention to that; we work in silence."
