Sky Sports reported that international striker from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Yuan Wissa, has been ruled out for a period of four to five weeks due to a knee injury.

Wissa sustained the injury while participating with his national team during the international break, but medical examinations confirmed that the injury is less severe than initially expected.

The 29-year-old player will miss at least six matches for his new team, aiming to continue his recovery with the goal of returning after the next international break in October.

This injury is an early setback for coach Eddie Howe, especially since Wissa has not played any official matches yet with his new team after joining on the last day of the summer transfer window; however, the player has avoided a more serious injury that could have led to a longer absence.
