According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", last season's statistics showed that Barcelona, under Flick's leadership, delivered a strong offensive performance at home, having played 28 domestic matches across all competitions, achieving 20 wins, 4 draws, and 4 losses, all in La Liga.

Barcelona scored 85 goals at home, averaging 3 goals per match, distributed as follows: 52 goals in the league, 24 in the Champions League, and 9 in the Copa del Rey. However, the team's defense appeared less solid, conceding 32 goals, a relatively high figure, bringing the total number of goals conceded for the season to 72, the third-highest figure of the current century so far.
