Al-Ghandour mocks Al-Ahly's draw with Ghazl El Mahalla
Khaled Al-Ghandour mocked Al-Ahly's draw with Ghazl El Mahalla in a match on Monday in the league.
The match ended in a goalless draw, which was part of the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al-Ghandour stated in comments via "On Sport" radio: "Al-Ahly yesterday was playing against the weakest team and squad in the Egyptian league, meaning Ghazl El Mahalla, which was relegated last season, and its staying in the league was a decision by the clubs' association, which decided to cut the budget in half."
He added: "The team that was relegated last season lost a large number of its players and brought in Alaa Abdel Aal because he is good at dealing with small teams and young players."
He concluded: "Al-Ahly had a chance with Zizo one-on-one, but he didn't have a sense of the place and shot it very high, completely away from the goal."
