Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour, a former star of Zamalek, revealed the conditions set by Imam Ashour, the star of Al-Ahly, for renewing his contract with the club.

Al-Ghandour said in statements via "Al-Mihrab" channel: "Imam Ashour was supposed to attend a meeting with Mohamed Youssef, the club's sports director, last week."

He continued: "The meeting was postponed, and Mohamed Youssef is the one delaying the renewal so far."

Al-Ghandour added: "The terms that Imam Ashour is setting for the renewal are: adjusting the remainder of his contract and equalizing with the highest category."

He continued: "Also, creating a new contract with a new duration that includes an automatic contract adjustment clause if a player higher than him comes, and an advertising contract that is equal to the highest category in the team."

Al-Ghandour concluded: "A signing bonus for the new contract, and the new contract should be net of taxes, in addition to a family membership for all branches."
