Media figure Jamal El-Ghandour revealed through a responsible source at Al-Ahly club the truth about Mohamed El-Shennawy, the goalkeeper of Al-Ahly, requesting to leave the ranks of the red team.
El-Ghandour continued on the program "Stadium Al-Mihr" saying: "The source confirmed that Mohamed El-Shennawy did not create any crisis, and he did not speak at all with either the coaching staff or the sports director regarding the idea of not playing in the Modern Sport match.
He added: "Mohamed El-Shennawy was the first supporter of the entire team as soon as he arrived at the locker room of Cairo Stadium.
He concluded: "There is no truth to what has been circulated about El-Shennawy pressuring to leave Al-Ahly."
