Former Zamalek Star Critiques Ribeiro After Al Ahly's Draw
Tariq Yahya, the former Zamalek star, criticized Jose Ribeiro, the coach of Al Ahly, following the red team's draw against Modern Sport in the league.
The positive draw resulted in a score of 2-2 in the match between Al Ahly and Modern Sport, which took place last night, Saturday, in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Tariq Yahya stated on the program "Plus 90" on Al-Nahar channel: "Mohamed Magdy Afsha was not good in the match, and it would have been better for him to sit on the bench. Al Ahly's formation was not good in the match, and it would have been better to have Ashraf Dari in defense due to his height and ability to deal more effectively with high balls."
He added: "Ashraf Ben Sharqi should have been included in the match quickly due to his individual solutions, especially given the tight spaces in the game, which require players with skill. We must also salute Magdy Abdel-Aty, the coach of Modern Sport, who managed to present a distinguished level during the match."
