The English club Burnley announced today, Thursday, the official signing of Slovak goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, coming from Newcastle United, in a deal aimed at compensating for the departure of goalkeeper James Trafford to Manchester City.

Dubravka is entering the final season of his contract with Newcastle, having participated in 179 matches across various competitions, and successfully kept a clean sheet in 51 matches.

In his statements to Burnley's official website, Dubravka expressed his happiness, saying: "I am very happy to join Burnley, it is an exciting moment, especially with the club returning to the Premier League.
