Newcastle United coach Eddie Howe confirmed that there are currently no negotiations regarding the renewal of Swedish striker Alexander Isak's contract, indicating that this matter may be addressed later.
Howe stated: "There are matters being managed behind the scenes, and whatever decisions are made, they must always be in the best interest of the club."
He added: "Of course, I hope Isak stays with us; he is an extremely important player for us."
