European media reports revealed today, Saturday, that Liverpool FC is planning to make a new offer to sign Swedish striker Alexander Isak, a player for Newcastle United, during the current summer transfer window.

Liverpool had previously made an offer worth £110 million, but Newcastle's management rejected it. Despite recent rumors about the Reds withdrawing from the deal, transfer market journalist "Sasha Tavolieri" confirmed that the club is still interested in signing the player.

Tavolieri noted that Liverpool is preparing to make a new offer early next week, especially given Isak's desire to join the team.

The Swedish striker had missed Newcastle's training sessions recently, in addition to being absent from the team's Asian tour due to injury, amidst reports of him pushing for a move.

It is worth mentioning that Isak joined Newcastle in the summer of 2022 from Real Sociedad, in a deal that exceeded £60 million.
