Milan Competes with Al-Hilal for Darwin Nunez
Sunday 03-08-2025
The Italian club AC Milan has officially entered the competition to sign Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez, a player for Liverpool, to rival Saudi Al-Hilal, which began negotiations with the player several weeks ago.

Italian outlet "Sky Sport" confirmed that Milan's management has placed Nunez at the top of their priorities to strengthen the attacking line, explaining the club's project to the player's representatives under the leadership of coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Milan and Al-Hilal face a significant obstacle in Liverpool's insistence on retaining Nunez, especially since his contract with the English team extends until June 2028, complicating the deal further.

Al-Hilal had opened negotiations with Nunez based on the desire of coach Simone Inzaghi, after failing to sign Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, who demanded a hefty salary exceeding 60 million euros annually.

As of now, no official agreement has been reached between the parties involved, leaving Nunez's future hanging in the balance amid anticipation from fans of both teams to know his next destination.
