Sayed Abdel Hafiz, the former football director at Al Ahly Club, spoke about Ahmed Abdelkader's desire to leave the team this summer.

Abdel Hafiz stated in remarks on MBC Masr channel: "Ahmed Abdelkader has very great capabilities and is a good player; his chances of playing at Al Ahly may not be the best, but he is a very good player."

He added: "But if the player chooses a path other than mine, it doesn't harm me as a club; there might be a slight shake, but I will recover quickly."

He continued: "Any player who chooses a path other than mine or a page or a book other than my book, then good luck to them; if I am the one ignoring the player, then why should I regret it?"

He went on: "If a good player like Hamdi Fathy chooses Pyramids, I will never change my opinion of him as a football player."

He concluded: "That's why I say for the billionth time, take the club's rights, and whoever wants to leave, good luck to them."

He wrapped up: "Pyramids is a very strong competitor, but it does not intimidate Al Ahly; the popular clubs are the ones that make the difference."
