Reports have emerged that defender Axel Tuanzebe, a former Manchester United player, has filed a lawsuit against his former club due to what he termed 'medical negligence', regarding the medical advice he received during his time with the team.

Tuanzebe joined the Manchester United academy at the age of eight and progressed to the first team in 2015, before later suffering from recurring injuries that limited his appearances.

The 27-year-old defender left United after a series of loans to Aston Villa, Napoli, and Stoke City, before moving to Ipswich Town and then to his current team, Burnley.

Tuanzebe, who holds Democratic Republic of Congo nationality, participated in 38 matches for Manchester United, without scoring or assisting any goals during that period.
