Newcastle Finalizes Elanga Deal
Journalist David Ornstein reported that Swedish star Anthony Elanga is on the verge of joining Newcastle United from Nottingham Forest.
Ornstein mentioned on his official account on the X platform that the young player will undergo a medical examination within the next 48 hours in preparation for the official completion of the deal.
The deal is expected to be worth £52 million, in addition to some bonuses and incentives, with Elanga set to sign a five-year contract with Newcastle.
Elanga, 22, is considered one of the top young talents in the Premier League, having played 82 matches with Nottingham Forest, scoring 11 goals and providing 21 assists.
