Media reports have revealed that French club Monaco is preparing to officially announce the signing of young Spanish star Ansu Fati from Barcelona, on a one-season loan with an option to buy.

According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, the announcement of the deal is expected to take place next Tuesday, as Fati has already signed the contracts for his move to Monaco after a full agreement with his Spanish club.

This transfer comes just a few days after Monaco announced the signing of Frenchman Paul Pogba, who joined on a free transfer with a two-season contract, following a long absence from the pitch due to a doping case.

It is noteworthy that French media reports indicated that Barcelona will cover part of Fati's salary during his loan period to Monaco.
