The right-back of Al-Najaf Club, Mustafa Mohamed Ma'in, announced his official decision to terminate his contract with the team, due to what he described as a buildup of financial and administrative crises within the club, primarily the delay in paying his financial dues for four consecutive months.

Ma'in stated in exclusive comments: "I submitted an official warning to the management of Al-Najaf Club about a month ago, but unfortunately, no real steps were taken to resolve the crisis or settle my dues. Instead, I received unfulfilled promises, which led me to make the decision to terminate the contract permanently."

The young right-back, who had a good season with the Gazelles, confirmed that he filed an official complaint with the relevant authorities against Al-Najaf Club, aiming to collect his overdue dues, while also calling for an end to the suffering that players experience due to poor financial management and the lack of stability within the club.

He added: "I am a professional player looking for an environment that provides me with security and stability. You cannot continue to give your best on the field when you haven't received your salary for four months, and you are met with promises that are not fulfilled."

Mustafa Mohamed Ma'in is considered one of the praised names during the season, and it is expected that the termination of his contract will attract the interest of several clubs in the Iraqi Stars League, especially given his high technical abilities and experience in handling competitive pressure.
