Ahmed Hassan stated on Facebook: "Captain Mahmoud El-Khatib extended his support and expressed his confidence in the players and the coaching staff, in a message conveyed by Engineer Khaled Mortagy, the head of Al-Ahly's delegation in America, to the entire team during their last training session."
The first group also includes Palmeiras from Brazil and Porto from Portugal alongside Al-Ahly and Inter Miami.
