The Spanish club Barcelona has rejected the offer made by French club Monaco to sign Ansu Fati during the summer transfer period.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Monaco submitted a request to acquire Fati on loan for one season, without taking on his full salary, which was met with refusal from Barcelona, who does not wish to continue bearing the salaries of their loaned players.

The Catalan club is also seeking to include a clause that allows for the permanent sale of Fati within the agreement, which was not accepted by Monaco, who rejected the inclusion of a purchase option.

Barcelona is awaiting a second offer from the French club after the failure to agree on the first proposal, while Fati is eager to leave Barcelona this summer to gain more playing minutes.

Fati played 11 matches with Barcelona last season without scoring or assisting any goals.
