The father of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has stirred anger among the Catalan team's fans after he shared a photo of himself with his son on his official Instagram account.

Barcelona announced yesterday the renewal of Yamal's contract until the summer of 2031.

After the renewal, Munir Nasrawi, Yamal's father, posted a picture with his son and accompanied it with two numbers (19, 3), which provoked the ire of the Catalan fans, who believed that the player's father was referring to the salary the player would receive after the renewal.

For his part, journalist José Álvarez said: "I spoke with Munir, Lamine's father, and he was laughing about the uproar over this picture, as he did not mean the player's salary but was referring to Yamal's number and the number of titles he has won this season."
