According to sources, the death of Mahmoud El-Khatib's brother, the president of Al-Ahly, and his travel abroad, were the reasons behind the delay of Amr El-Gazzar's transfer, as El-Khatib himself is leading the negotiations with Walid Khalil, the president of Ghazl El-Mahalla, to finalize the contract with the player.
