Several media reports confirmed that Jorge Mendes, the agent of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, arrived in Barcelona on Thursday and met with the Spanish star at a restaurant.

According to the Catalan newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Mendes will meet with Barcelona's management in the coming period to lay the groundwork for renewing Yamal's contract.

Yamal's contract with Barcelona expires in 2026, and the club wants to offer him a long-term contract when he turns 18 next July.
