Media figure Ahmed Shobair commented on the statement made by Dino Lamberti, the agent of Marcel Koller, the former coach of Al Ahly.

Lamberti had said via his official Instagram account on Wednesday: "Rumors and incorrect information have been repeated in recent days regarding alleged negotiations between Marcel Koller and Al Ahly, particularly concerning outstanding financial dues."

He added: "I would like to clarify that this information is incorrect, as there are no agreements or offers as mentioned. I urge the media to avoid speculation and rumors, and to rely only on official statements. We work professionally, and we expect the same level of professionalism in mutual dealings."

Shobair stated in remarks via Al Ahly channel: "The secret of this statement, according to our information, is that some are trying to play with the relationship between Al Ahly and Marcel Koller."

He added: "It is being suggested to Koller that Al Ahly is trying to undermine him during his tenure, by making certain statements that tarnish his achievements and capabilities. Every word translates to Koller and his agent."

He continued: "Up until now, Koller has received his financial dues, as he received his salary for April, and his salary for May will be transferred to him. The remaining dues extending into the next season are being negotiated by Al Ahly."

He concluded: "If an agreement is not reached, Al Ahly will not hesitate to fulfill the Swiss coach's dues."
