Ahmad Shobair, the former Al-Ahly star, revealed the latest developments regarding the red team's negotiations with star Rami Rabia and the truth about Al-Ain's desire to sign the player.
Shobair said on Al-Ahly TV: "Rami Rabia, I contacted some close associates from Al-Ain Club, and I asked them if you are interested in signing Rami Rabia? They replied: Yes, but there is still no official negotiation with Al-Ahly, and his contract is nearing its end."
He added: "The situation with Rami Rabia is different from Ramadan Sobhi, and there is ongoing negotiation with the player from Al-Ahly up to this moment."
He continued: "Al-Ahly Club may reopen discussions with him, and he is willing to lower the figures he has requested."
