Laporta Clarifies Barcelona's Plan Regarding Raphinha's Future
Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona, spoke about the future of the team's star player, Brazilian international Raphinha Diaz, who has excelled significantly this season.
Laporta confirmed in an interview with La Vanguardia the Catalan club's intention to renew Raphinha's contract, which is set to expire in the summer of 2027.
He stated: "Yes, he has been exceptional. His new contract is one of the pending issues we hope to resolve in the coming days/weeks."
He added: "We do not want any player to have just one year left on their contract."
