Ahmed Shobair, the former Al-Ahly star, revealed the expected formation of Al-Ahly's defense line in the Club World Cup.

Al-Ahly participates in the Club World Cup in a group that includes: Brazilian Palmeiras, Portuguese Porto, and American Inter Miami.

Shobair said in radio statements: "Let's assume that Ramy Rabia leaves Al-Ahly, and this is very likely, who will be present in Al-Ahly's defense?".

He continued: "The one who is definitely continuing is Yasser Ibrahim after he renewed his contract, and Ashraf Dary, and there is an intention to renew Mustafa Al-Ash's loan from Zed team for another year or to buy him permanently."

He added: "Also, Al-Ahly decided to consider its young gems, and there are two players from the youth national team, Ahmed Abdeen and Abdullah Boustangi, both of whom are performing well, even though the youth national team is not performing well in the Africa Cup of Nations so far."

He added: "Ahmed Abdeen's return is now final, and they are still considering Boustangi."
