Ahmed Shobeir confirmed that the professional offer received by Mustafa Shobeir, the Al Ahly goalkeeper, recently came from a major marketing company in Europe, which is the same company that marketed Omar Marmoush.

Ahmed Shobeir said via On Sport radio: "The professional offer for Mustafa Shobeir? The player has two years left on his contract with Al Ahly, the offer that arrived is from a major marketing company based in Europe."

He added: "This company is the one that marketed Omar Marmoush, clearly they sat with Mohamed Youssef (the sports director at Al Ahly) for a lengthy discussion and talked about everything concerning Shobeir, and they are very serious."

He continued: "They said that they are marketing for several clubs and have more than one club in Spain, including Valencia, and the Valencia goalkeeper has left, and there is Getafe and Almeria as well, and one of the Portuguese and Mexican clubs."

He added: "There is a conversation, but the decision lies with Al Ahly club; if Mustafa is to leave, he will leave, or if Mustafa stays, he will continue."
