
Al-Ahly Rejects Luis Castro's Conditions
Press sources confirmed that Al-Ahly club officials rejected the conditions of Portuguese Luis Castro, the former coach of Al-Nassr, to take over the coaching of the team following the dismissal of Swiss Marcel Kohler in the upcoming period.
According to press reports, Luis Castro requested an annual salary of 6 million dollars for himself and his coaching staff in order to agree to coach Al-Ahly.
The sources added that Castro also stipulated that his coaching staff be entirely foreign without any Egyptian element, which was rejected by the Al-Ahly management.
The press sources clarified that the Al-Ahly management is trying to negotiate with Castro to reduce his financial demands and accept the presence of an Egyptian coach within his staff.
