Imad Al-Nahas: The Victory Over Haras Has Contributed to Boosting Players' Confidence
Imad Al-Nahas, the coach of Al-Ahly, confirmed that the significant victory his team achieved over Haras El-Hodood today, Sunday, contributed to boosting the confidence of the red players.
Al-Ahly won against Haras El-Hodood with a crushing score of 5-0 in a match held as part of the fourth round of the decisive phase of the Premier League.
Al-Nahas said in the press conference after the match: "I congratulate the players, the coaching staff, and the fans on this important victory. Today's win is better than the previous match, especially since we did not concede any goals, which is something we needed to rebuild our confidence again."
He added: "We introduced some new elements like Ali Maaloul, and I hoped for the participation of Nedved and Al-Saei, but the circumstances of the match did not allow for that."
He continued: "The results of the competing teams are currently working in our favor, and we are still holding on to our chances in the league. Reaching the goal and creating multiple chances, even if wasted, is evidence of positive performance, especially against a strong team like Haras El-Hodood, which has not lost by this margin during the season."
Regarding the reason for substituting Taher Mohamed Taher, Al-Nahas said: "The substitution was precautionary, and we did not reach the stage of injury; we just wanted to ensure his safety."
