Shobir Comments on Al-Ahly's Interest in Mohamed Ben Ramadan

The media figure Ahmed Shobir confirmed that the excitement that was present last year regarding the news of Al-Ahly's potential signing of Mohamed Ben Ramadan is no longer felt among the fans.

Shobir stated in radio comments: "The issue of Mohamed Ben Ramadan, all indicators suggest that he has signed with Al-Ahly, and last year all the pages were telling you about Mohamed Ben Ramadan, and the situation was chaotic with fans asking everywhere. This time, people are saying he signed with Al-Ahly, but there is no excitement and passion like there was last year, keeping in mind that Al-Ahly fans are upset."

He added: "I have an important point of view here, which is that transfers should be based on needs, not slogans. Who in the world can talk about Grady Shahr or Ashraf Ben Sharqi or Trezeguet, or when Zamalek signed Abdullah Al-Saeed, an excellent player who benefited his team, of course."

Shobir concluded: "I think what is important for any team is to see what their needs are, especially since Al-Ahly will have a new foreign coach coming in a few days who will have his own perspective on the players and their needs."
