Marcel Kohler, the coach of Al Ahly, confirmed that he feels disappointed after his team's exit from the African Champions League.

Kohler added during the press conference after the match: "The disappointment is present among all of us even though we did not lose the match. Our goal was to write a new history by reaching the final, but I am very sad."

He continued: "We took the lead with a goal and had a defensive approach, knowing it was a deceptive result. We conceded a late own goal, and the time was not enough to achieve victory."

Al Ahly drew with Sundowns today with a score of 1-1 in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-final.

The first leg ended in a goalless draw (0-0), allowing Sundowns to advance to the final benefiting from the away goals rule.
