Koller: Our only goal tomorrow is to win

Marcel Koller, the coach of Al Ahly, confirmed that his team has only one goal, which is to win the match tomorrow against Sundowns.

Al Ahly will face Sundowns tomorrow, Friday, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.

Koller said at a press conference today: "In the first leg, neither team was able to score (0/0), which makes us confident that tomorrow's match will be very strong."

He added that Al Ahly will play at home and in front of their fans, which gives the team greater motivation, affirming that he relies on the fans to continue their support and encouragement for the players to achieve victory and qualify for the final match.

He explained: "We have a specific goal tomorrow, which is to win only, and we do not want to reach a positive draw that benefits the opponent or a negative draw that leads us to penalties, so we will play to win and qualify."

He continued: "I know that Sundowns is a strong team, and we aim to make the fans happy, and we do not care much about the previous results of both teams because our focus is solely on tomorrow's match."

Koller added: "Penalty shootouts have their own calculations, and indeed Sundowns' goalkeeper is exceptional, but we have a great goalkeeper in Mohamed El Shenawy who has previously saved many penalties, and I expect the opponent to perform strongly."
