Shouber: Al Ahly Did Not Negotiate for Mostafa Mohamed
Egyptian media figure Ahmed Shouber revealed the truth about Al Ahly's interest in acquiring the services of Mostafa Mohamed, the Nantes striker, to strengthen the team's attack in preparation for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Media reports suggested that Al Ahly is in serious negotiations with Mostafa Mohamed to sign him in the transfer period preceding the FIFA Club World Cup.
However, according to what Shouber mentioned on his program, the rumors about Al Ahly entering negotiations with Mostafa Mohamed are completely untrue.
Shouber stated: "Mostafa Mohamed is not among Al Ahly's considerations at all, and there are positions that have priority in contracts, while the attacking position has been previously reinforced and there are young players within the team’s ranks."
He added: "If Al Ahly needs to sign a new striker, the priority would be to assess Mohamed Sherif's situation, and this position also includes Wissam Abu Ali and Nygk Geradichar."
