- Exclusion from participating in the Egypt Cup due to withdrawal in the previous season.
- Exit from the League Cup (Capital Cup) after losing two matches and finishing last in the group without points.
- Withdrawal against Zamalek in the summit match and counting the match as a 3-0 victory for Zamalek and deducting 3 additional points from Al Ahly.
- A financial penalty that could reach 200 million Egyptian pounds after the withdrawal against Zamalek.
- Failure to achieve victory over Zamalek in any of the 4 matches throughout the season (3 draws and a loss by withdrawal).
