Barcelona Plans to Secure Flick's Future

According to the newspaper "Sport", Barcelona's management is looking to reward German coach Hans Flick by extending his contract until the summer of 2027, following the impressive performances of the team under his leadership.

Flick took over as coach of Barcelona at the beginning of this season with a contract extending until 2026, but he has successfully led the team to the top of La Liga, qualified for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, and reached the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

The newspaper clarified that Deco, the club's sporting director, wants to finalize the renewal early to avoid any speculation about the coach's future, as he will offer him a contract extension for an additional season with a significant increase in his annual salary.

Reports indicated that Flick is happy with his experience at Barcelona, but he prefers to wait until the end of the season before making his final decision regarding the renewal, as he does not favor long-term contracts.
