The Tunisian Club Africain officially announced today, Tuesday, its contract with goalkeeper Idriss Arfaoui during the current winter transfer period. The contract with the 19-year-old Arfaoui came from the Belgian club Denzi, where he signed a contract extending for two and a half seasons.
Arfaoui is considered one of the most prominent talents in Tunisia, as he starred with the Tunisian youth team in the World Cup in Argentina, and was chosen as the second best goalkeeper in the tournament. His contract comes to compensate for the absence of Al-Moez Hassan, the injured team goalkeeper.
The African management, headed by Heikal Dakhil, is seeking to strengthen the team’s ranks in the winter Mercato, as part of the strong competition for the Tunisian League title.
