Al-Hilal Club (Omdurman). It is a professional football club located in Omdurman, Sudan, founded in 1930, and is known by the nickname 'The Blue Jewel.' The team previously played its matches at Al-Hilal Stadium and currently plays at the 'Amahoro' Stadium in the sister country of Rwanda. It is considered one of the most successful and prestigious clubs in Sudan and the African continent. It has won the Sudanese Premier League title 32 times, the latest being in the 2024-2025 season, and has won the Sudan Cup ten times in the years 1953-1954, 1997-1998, 1999-2000, 2001-2002, 2003-2004, 2008-2009, 2010-2011, 2015-2016, 2021-2022, and 2024-2025. The club achieved a historic milestone in 2025 when it became the first Sudanese team to reach the quarter-finals of the African Champions League, and it has a strong historical rivalry with Al-Merrikh Club known as the Khartoum Derby.
