Results of the group stage draw for the CAF Champions League

The draw for the group stage of the CAF Champions League 2026-2027 was held today, Wednesday, at the Egyptian Football Association headquarters in Sixth of October City.

South African side Sundowns were crowned champions of the CAF Champions League last season 2025-2026 after overcoming Royal Army 2-1 on aggregate in the Final.

Results of the draw for the group stage of the CAF Champions League 2026-2027:

The first group includes Angolan side Wiliet, Mauritania's FC Nouadhibou, Angolan club Petro Atlético, and Esperance Tunis.

Group B: Esperance Tunis, CR Belouizdad, Young Africans, Zamalek SC.

The third group consists of Colombian Sportif, the Cameroonian Orlando Pirates, the Tanzanian Simba, and the Moroccan RS Berkane.

Group D consists of FUS Rabat, Horoya Conakry, Al-Hilal, and Pyramids FC.

According to an official statement from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the dates for Zamalek SC and Pyramids FC matches in the CAF Champions League are as follows:

The first round will take place from November 27 to 29, 2026.

Round 2: December 4 – 6, 2026

Round 3: December 18 – 20, 2026.

Round 4: January 8 - 10, 2027.

Round 5: January 15 – 17, 2027.

Round 6: January 22 – 24, 2027.
