Al Ahli Tripoli Signs Burundian Jean Claude

Ahli Tripoli has officially announced the signing of Burundian winger Jean Claude, who joins from Sudan's Al Hilal on a two-year contract. This move aims to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.

Jean Claude's move to Al Ahli Tripoli comes after a successful experience with Al Hilal, where he spent several seasons and won domestic titles. He also played a key role in helping the Sudanese team reach the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League in two consecutive occasions.

Reports earlier revealed that Al Ahli Tripoli has secured the signing, indicating that the Libyan club paid around $5 million for the player's services, in what has been described as the most expensive deal in the club's history and the Libyan league.

Jean Claude is 21 years old and has previously represented the Burundi national team, where he played 16 international matches and scored two goals. He transferred to Al Hilal in September 2023 from Burundian club Vitalo.
