Hisham Ait Menna, president of Wydad Club, confirmed that he had concluded an early deal to strengthen the team's ranks.

The results of the Club World Cup draw resulted in Wydad being placed in the seventh group with Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates, Manchester City of England, and Juventus of Italy.

Hisham said in television statements: “Yes, we have agreed with a Moroccan international player who previously participated in the Qatar World Cup, and he will be with us immediately after the end of the season to participate with... The team in the Club World Cup... matters are settled."

He added: “We are negotiating with Another international player and we are trying as much as possible to close the deal... The details of the strong draw forced us to move early because we must represent Moroccan and even African football in a decent way.”
