Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola appeared in press statements after the 2-2 draw against Arsenal, in the fifth round of the Premier League.

The coach said: “Great praise.” For Arsenal, as they defended every ball until the end, we created chances, which were perhaps not clear.”

He added: “We played many crosses, but it was difficult because. They have Calafiore, Saliba, Gabriel, Partey and Rice - as you know the commitment was very difficult.”

He continued: “Wasting time on Arsenal’s part, maybe I would have done the same thing because He plays with ten players. You have to ask Mikel [Arteta] about the tactics. They were good with the long balls to Kai Havertz, who is strong, and in the end we were patient, we had the chances and we scored the goal p>

He added: “I don’t know how many [Arsenal] players have had convulsions, but this can of course happen in a difficult match.”

He noted: “I admire my team. My team started well after interruptions for many reasons, and after the first goal, the referee asked the leaders to speak.”

He continued: “We defended Really badly in the second goal and they were brilliant. Gabriel is very strong in this position.”

He concluded: “Rodri injured? I don't know, I haven't talked to the doctors."
