Bayern and Arsenal in Battle for Frankfurt's Gem

Nathaniel Brown is considered one of the most prominent names in the summer transfer market, but his future remains undecided as of now.

The 22-year-old player, who plays for Eintracht Frankfurt as a left-back and can also occupy roles in midfield and right defense, is attracting serious interest from Bayern Munich and Arsenal.

According to a report in The Athletic, Bayern Munich has held the most advanced discussions with the player's representatives, and convincing Brown to move to the Bavarian club is not expected to be a significant issue. In addition to being a native of Bavaria, the German club sees him as a versatile player who can meet several needs within the squad.

Nevertheless, the main obstacle remains financial. Frankfurt is demanding 65 million euros to let go of the player, who is under contract until 2030 without any release clause. So far, Bayern has not shown a willingness to pay this amount, creating a clear gap between the two clubs' valuation of the deal.

Although Bayern is still the frontrunner to secure Brown's signature, the negotiations seem likely to continue for a long time.

Interest in the player is growing with expectations that he will be one of the key members of the German national team in the World Cup, which could increase his value further and make the competition to sign him more complicated in the coming weeks.
